Extremely morose.
Slow, depressing and morbid. This is not a movie that provides introspection, illuminates, or uplifts. Quite the opposite. An "art film?" Perhaps. I give it a big "Who Cares."
"Magic Valley"
Very good story and great acting by Scott Glenn. Good sound and editing. A bit slow but Magic Valley was the first feature film by this director. I believe Jaffe Zinn also did the script for this film and the budget was miminal. Story should be seen by teen agers to view the danger that can be realized by the "choking game" which I understand is quite common in teen agers.
Depressing waste of time, film and talent
What a depressing, poorly filmed, poorly acted and directed film. Quality at all levels was worse than a home-movie shock-factor done by strung-out kids who don't understand drama, timing, plot, tension, or even the basics of how to tell a story.
