AWESOME
As a huge fan of EDM, this was a great DOC to watch. I am am aspiring at home mixer so it is cool to see where we have come from...ie: vinyl to digital.
This is the film that compelled me to seek out the underground
I have always been attracted to the rave culture, and I love the electronic music genre but I never really ventured into the world of the underground electronic music and dance scene until after I watched this movie (saw it first on the big screen when it came out to theaters in SF). The basic premise of the film: people in the scene are given the opportunity by the filmmaker to express their opinions on the differences between commercial music and DIY electronic music and the culture associated. It shows the good and the bad that the underground has to offer.
