Pop Art [HD]

A solid short film
While not nearly as powerful as the short story by Joe Hill, the short film Pop Art is still poignant and powerful on its own terms. Beautifully filmed and well acted, the story flows and follows the unlikely friendship between a downtrodden young student and a new student who just happens to be an inflatable boy. The two, during the film's short run time, share experiences and come of age together. It's hard to be discriminated against and ostracized when you're alone but these two manage to even turn it into a game. Watching them come of age and grow up on screen was a real treat.
To say more would be to ruin the film and deprive viewers of their experience so I will leave it this. The film is worth the purchase and worth the watch. It's well done and strong and inventive. Only wish I had was that they'd included, "He ran out of sky."
