Very dodgy VHS transfer
I've been looking for this title for ages, so I guess its pretty amazing that it's even available. And it brings me another step closer to completing my collection of Video Nasties on DVD/Blu-ray.
However the quality is really bad. I have around 2000 films on DVD & Blu-ray and this is probably has the worst video quality of the lot. Its very obviously a VHS rip (the on-screen display from the player even briefly appears for the first second or so of play). The credits text at bleeds so badly that its impossible to read (and the font isn't exactly easy to read). Everything is dark and murky making it impossible to see what's going on in most of the night scenes. Then there's the really bad DVD encoding making everything so heavy pixelated that any detail that might have remained on the VHS tape is now totally lost. This is particular bad in the night scenes and whenever anything moves - anything in a moving car is virtually unwatchable.

Another rare title released
Not to be confused with Polsellis or bavas Delirium, this is one of the original video nasties aka Psycho Puppet.
We are presented with basically two different films here: the first half is a full on slasher flick about Charlie, an ex Vietnam soldier who has lost his marbles. The second half is about a shady organization which hires ex-Vietnam soldiers to help clean up the streets and dish out their own justice to the filth and scum. Charlie was an employee of the organization, but flashbacks from the vietnam war have pushed him too far. Charlie now kills for thrills, and even though the murders are quite tame,it was these scenes that got the film banned.
First released in the UK in July 1982 by VTC, director Peter Maris' Delirium was added to the DPP list in November 1983. It wasn't long before the film was dropped from the list in May 1985.
